If you use a third-party Identity Provider to authenticate your end users into VMware Identity Manager, you will like this. You now have more support for the user identifier sent in an inbound SAML Assertion. In previous releases, VMware Identity Manager supported user identifier in only the subject statement of the SAML Assertion. Now you have more options. The user identifier can be sent in either the Subject or the Attribute Statement.
