Apply Now to Become an EUC vExpert!

By now, you’ve seen the VMware End User Computing blog announcing the new EUC vExpert program. We’re really excited about it and looking forward to developing a strong community. But what do you do to apply? In this blog, we’ll cover the high-level criteria and the application process.

By now, I hope you’ve seen the VMware End User Computing blog announcing the new EUC vExpert program. It’s something we’re really excited about and we’re looking forward to developing a strong EUC vExpert community. But you’re probably wondering, what do I have to do to apply? In this blog, we’ll cover the high-level criteria and the application process.

Criteria

As mentioned in the announcement blog, this program is about identifying those end-user computing experts who are the crème of the crop when it comes to their knowledge and advocacy of VMware End-User Computing products like Workspace ONE, Horizon, App Volumes, and Dynamic Environment Manager. They’ve proven that over the last 6-12 months, they are not only end-user computing experts, but that they enjoy giving back to the community. We will be looking at a combination of criteria including:

  • Level of participation when answering questions on VMware End-User Computing forums
  • Frequency of “original” writing (blogs, articles, books) about End-User Computing topics
  • Public speaking at events like VMworld, VMUG, and so on
  • Must be a current vExpert

Application

Go to the vExpert Application Portal to apply. There, you will have an opportunity to provide detailed examples of how you meet the criteria above. The more detail that shows your proven history over the last 6-12 months of being an VMware End-User Computing expert, the better. Please note some key dates:

  • Applications are open from March 9th to March 23rd.
  • Voting by the business units will be from March 23rd to April 6th.
  • Results will be announced on April 7th.

If you don’t feel like you currently meet the criteria, don’t worry. We will be reviewing applications on a yearly basis, so next year you will have a chance to put in your application.
