Announcing New Community Features for the Digital Workspace Tech Zone!

Today, we’re happy to announce new community features on Tech Zone that are designed to raise awareness of our IT Practitioner community and drive engagement. This post walks you through four features; the new Communities menu, EUC vExperts, product forums, and integration between Tech Zone articles and forums.

We have an amazing community of Digital Workspace experts! We’ve enjoyed seeing your knowledge, passion, and willingness to share what you know with others. One of the pieces of feedback you’ve shared with us is that we need to do more to integrate communities into the Digital Workspace Tech Zone. 

Today, we’re happy to announce new community features on Tech Zone that are designed to raise awareness of our IT Practitioner community and drive engagement. I’d like to walk you through four features that I think you’ll like (the fourth is my personal favorite, but that’s just me):

We’ve launched a new Communities menu under Start. Under this menu, you’ll get to know the top experts in the community, ways to engage with the community, and featured community content.

EUC vExperts

In April we announced the awards for the inaugural EUC vExperts. These end-user computing experts are the cream of the crop when it comes to their knowledge and advocacy of VMware End-User Computing products. To get to know them, head on over to our new EUC vExperts page.

Product Forums

Engage with the community with product forums covering VMware Workspace ONE, VMware Horizon, VMware App Volumes, VMware Dynamic Environment Manager, and more. If you’re looking for help from fellow community members, this is the place to go!

‘Discuss This’ Integration (Tech Zone articles and Forums)

As I mentioned before, this one is my personal favorite. We wanted to give the community an easy way to provide feedback on Tech Zone articles. Now, if you are logged into the Tech Zone platform, you can provide feedback by clicking More -> Discuss This. This will take you to the respective forums post for that article where you can provide feedback and discuss that article. Our Tech Zone experts are tracking all feedback!

We’re really excited about these new community features, but this is just the beginning. There are some additional community updates planned for the next few months and we can’t wait to share them with you.
